Good Food Box, Niagara Region
|
The Good Food Box is a non-profit, produce buying project with the goal of helping everyone to include more fresh fruits and vegetables in their diet.
How does the Good Food Box benefit you?
Good Value: We buy in bulk and pass the savings on to the customer.
Healthy: You get a wide variety of healthy fruits and vegetables. Occasionally we have new and different items.
Local: Food is purchased from local farmers when available.
Fresh: The produce often comes straight from the farmers’ fields to your Good Food Box.
Nutritious: There is a variety of staples and many different kinds of fruits and vegetables.
Eating the suggested servings of fruits and vegetables suggested in the Canada Food Guide promotes healthy living and lowers the risk of obesity.
As a community based project we rely on volunteers for our success.
